Koinonia Orchestra of Europe is a vibrant, recently formed ensemble based in Brussels, bringing together a talented group of internationally renowned young soloists and friends. Founded by conductor Wouter Versavel and flutist Marcello Masi, the orchestra's name "Koinonia," finds its roots in ancient Greek, embodying concepts of communion, joint participation, partnership and shared contribution. These concepts reflect the orchestra's core mission to unite people through its artistic process, regardless of their gender, sexuality, ethnic and religious background.
