MARCELLO MASI
Marcello Masi (Naples, 1998) is an Italian flutist and artist. After earning his Bachelor’s degree at the Naples Conservatory, he moved to Belgium, where he obtained a Master’s degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels. An eclectic performer, he blends classical tradition with innovative projects and social engagement.
Winner of numerous competitions, he pursues a career as a soloist, chamber musician (co-founder of the Megaride Ensemble), and orchestral musician, collaborating with prestigious institutions such as the Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti, Teatro di San Carlo, the Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides, and the Nationaal Jeugdorkest, and performing in venues including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Konzerthaus in Berlin.
At the same time, he has developed a strong pedagogical and social commitment, co-founding the Koinonia Orchestra of Europe in April 2024.
Internationally, he debuted as a soloist in 2022 and has performed in Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Hungary. I
He continues his studies in Baroque flute with Anna Besson.
