Wouter Versavel is a promising young Belgian choir and orchestra conductor, recognized for his exceptional technical mastery and inspiring style. He began his musical career as a classical saxophonist, winning numerous prestigious prizes as a soloist and performing alongside renowned ensembles and orchestras. He also plays the piano and the organ.

In recent years, he has devoted himself entirely to conducting, driven by the belief that music has the power to bring people together. He stands out for his deep attachment to the repertoire and his ability to fuse musical storytelling with technical perfection.

Since January 2023, Wouter Versavel has been the conductor of the Brussels Young Philharmonic. He is also the co-founder and conductor of the Koinonia Orchestra of Europe, an ensemble bringing together young internationally renowned soloists, and he conducts both the Helicante Kamerkoor and Omnia Cantica.
